There was this place right around the corner, damn I forget the name, maybe Lady Daisey will comment it on here for us . . . but anyway they had the illest Tabouleh – doods would hook it up with extra Olive oil and lemon juice to order – - I copped it about 6 times – ha! I loved it best with the veggie pita, or as seen here, with the fresh falafel! (This one was delicious):

Fresh Falafel and Tabouleh - A Good combination
(Heads up – Tabouleh is generally cucumber, parsley, lemon, garlic, olive oil, and tomato)

Filling up between verses! Shout out to Frank Falalfel!
Dillon Ate . . . Ramen (?!) in Berlin with Batsauce & Lady Daisey

So I used to eat Ramen noodles like everyday in middle school, right? The Marchuan joints from Sam’s Club and all that . . . but I shook the habit mad years ago. Until Batsauce got sick and he wanted some Ramen – and in Berlin you can go anywhere and get the dope import Ramen with the oil flavor pack, yada yada. So when I saw they had “vegetable flavor” - I was game. Plus – it would be only fitting to indulge in some Ramen in celebration of my homie, P.Locke’s (Therapy) new album coming out soon on Tres Records – “Super Ramen Rocketship” – I am one of the privileged few to know firsthand that it is going to rearrange your spinal cord! BLAU!

Yum! Yum! Muggafelka!

Ramen was my first love . . .

Broke in Berlin # 7
It was bound to happen. When you’re broke in Berlin, sometimes you have to roll with the punches and just eat what you see while walking home at 4 in the morning after watching Lady Daisey sing her ASS off at Bohannon! Now generally, this is where Berlin cuisine shines – late nite street food – and especially the Middle Eastern spots. I knew that a phenomenal falafel (say that out loud please) was only a block or two away. Damn yo. I was wrong.

This is a Fala"failure"
- The Falafel was microwaved when I ordered it (at 4 am) – understandable cause it was so late . . but damn . . the microwave?!
- The Garlic Sauce was wack sauce son! I was tasting that wackness the next day . . .
- The lettuce und salat was kinda wilty . . .
- And wayyy to much onion – I like onion – but damn!
FAILURE!

Dillon Ate: With Supa Dave West and Ben Hameen

Dave, Ben, Dillon, and Dumplings.
I had the pleasure of having Supa Dave West over for a few days not too long ago – (to work on a joint for the project I’m doing with Willie Evans Jr. – craziness). Well if you’ve seen the Southern Scramble Promo Video I did with Dave last summer, you know how we get it in when it comes to food. It was the late night snack tip, and I decided to throw down with the pan-fried Gyoza. (Japanese dumplings). These joints are stuffed with veggies: carrot, scallion, cabbage, etc. – BOMB! Pan fry ‘em in a lil canola/sesame oil blend – get em all crispy ya know? Then it’s all about the sauce – Soy, lemon juice , garlic, jalapenos, sesame oil (just a touch),scaliions on topĀ . . . yo . . .YO!!

Dillon got the sauce now!
