I firmly believe that as human beings and souls existing in at least one plane on planet Earth, we should be required to grow things. Food, flowers, lucky bamboo, whatever. It feels good. Try it. I am new to growing, this is only my 3rd garden. I’m still going real small, trying to learn it. Boyee this Georgia clay ain’t no joke neither!
These are pictures of when I first planted the garden, in the last week of April, 2009 – I planted late this year, using saplings. Next year I plan to prepare the soil 2 months in advance and plant seeds, albeit earlier.

In the front yard - perhaps getting too much sun.
- Tomatoes (4 Variations)
- Bell Peppers (Red and Green)
- Herbs (Chives, Boxwood and Lemon Basil, Sage)
- Strawberries
- Lavender
- Hot Peppers (Jalapeno, Serrano, Habanero)
- Georgia Collard Greens
- Zucchini
- Marigolds

Shiyet let's take a stroll through the garden out this beyitch!

Holler at my Collards!

Now Zucchini, Now Zu Don't!

Habanero Peppers will melt your face off!

The profile view . . .

I can think of at least one more herb I'd like to grow.

Living lavish with the Lavender

*Chef 4 Burners Note: As of late, after reading some of the book, Back to Eden, I stopped eating fruits and vegetables together, because it is said that the combo can cause indigestion (Fruits are said to digest quicker than veggies, causing your guts to release all kinds of enzymes that the veggies are not ready for . .yada yada – any thoughts?
