Wow, that was pretty much the corniest title ever. Right. Sooo . . . next to Alaska’s, “King Salmon,” Sockeye is the second most sought after species of Salmon in Alaska. It is super rich and flavorful, and chock full of Omega-3′s. Peep the darker color than farm-raised salmon . . . this is scrumptious. Shouts to Chef Eric King over at Murphy‘s (He came from the Ritz Carlton, Atlanta) for giving me some tips on preparing this.

Nothing beats raw fruits and vegetables – my only regret is I recently read it’s no good to eat fruits and veggies together, because fruits digest way quicker and it could upset your stomach . . . anybody got any thoughts on this? Oh yah – Dillon got the juice now!!

(L to R - Anjou Pear, Orange, Mango, Pineapple, Kiwi, Carrot)

Cheers, Salud, Prost! (I think I'm wishing this was coffee)
Dillon Drank . . . that Nikken “PiMag” Water

Last year, when I was going to the chiropractor, she put me on to the fabulous Nikken “Aqua Pour” Gravity water system – WOW. It was a grip (I was able to get the hook up so I jumped on it) – but totally worth it. The water is pristine – it takes 5 hours to filter a gallon!! It goes through ceramic, then carbon, and then this whole chamber of filters, then it is filtered over Japanese mineral rocks, and pours out through a magnetic spout, which makes the water errr . . magnetically correct (?) – there’s a science behind it . Highly suggested – and it’ll save you in the long run if you buy bottled water – reduce consumption, suckas!

80 ounces a day! - of Water that is!

As you already know – Lady Da*sey and Batsauce make fabulous music together – like records. Anywho, while in Berlin, my sister and I had the pleasure of attending a Lady Da*sey show at “Cassiopeia” – a really dope venue a few miles walk from the cribbo. Bat and Daze unveiled one of their newest joints, “Day Old Bread.” Dope concept, dope song, and what a great way to perform it. Delicioso – though I could have used a little “Day Old Olive Oil” – heads up, Daze . . .

Dillon and Batsauce are – The Baguette Bros. Yes it is kinda corny that we took mad flicks eating sandwiches. Yes the sandwiches were that good. 1.50 Euro = a pretty damn decent deal.

Dillon and Batsauce are The Baguette Brothers. Dummies.

Yo I had the poppy seed bread - my favorite - BONG BONG!

Coffee and sammiches. Coffee and sammiches.

It’s a good thing that Berlin was starting to warm-up, because after that extremely sub-par “Veggie Burger” – I needed something to make feel good about great food again. So I peeped this gelato spot across the street (it turned into a coffeeshop next-door during the winter) – looked pretty slamming. I had a scoop of pineapple and mango. BONG! BANG! BING! . . . and it was cheap too!

The kid needed a biggidy BOOST!

That's that pineapple mango!

Peep how the sun bounces offa the kid! Good Lord!

So I’m a sucker for a good vegtarian restaurant, as I am . . . well, vegetarian. So apparently one of the dope spots in Berlin to eat at is “Yellow Sunshine.” Local musicians (Thanks, Danah) big this up as “Vegetarian fast food.” Well anyway, it was ok – but I’m not into the veggie burger patties that are like some rubber soy ish – I’m more into actual veggies, lentils, black beans, etc. The fries were good though. But fried food ain’t the lick ya’ll. I was kinda unimpressed . . .
